Mr. Orville Hill is a chartered accountant who has held executive positions at companies listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. His experience spans several industries including manufacturing, financial, training, and leisure/tourism.
As General Manager of Finance for Caribbean Cement Company Ltd. he developed and justified financial plans for US$130m loan facility from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the company’s expansion and modernization program.
His invaluable service to the Credit Union Movement was executed through Churches Co-operative Credit Union Ltd (now First Heritage Credit Union Ltd) where he served on the Board of Directors for fourteen years and for eight of those years he occupied the position or Chairman of the Board of Director’s. He led the merger between Churches Credit Union and GSB Credit Union and his leadership propelled him to be the 1st Chairman of the Board for the new organization First Heritage Credit Union Ltd.
